the road has always been a metaphor of the evolution of the mankind, of its reached goals and the ones to come. the more roads we built, the more our world seemed to be reachable until one moment in which all the roads seemed to be the same.
Giovanni De Gara started buying paintings of country landscapes from unknown painters at flea markets and asphalted their roads. there are still houses and threes but there are no men left.
